A device that makes you stop touching your face
Although it is human nature to touch one’s face for a variety of reasons, such behavior can facilitate the transmission of viruses and other diseases. If sheer willpower isn’t enough to avoid it, the head-mounted DesignMaker blueprint can be helpful. The device will give you a slap on the forehead when your hands and fingers come close to your face.
The project is based on an Arduino Nano that detects touches on the face via 4 infrared sensors. After detecting the touch, the device will slap you through a motor. Finally, the touches will be displayed on a 0.96″ OLED display.
