Amazon launches Picking Challenge to invent Warehouse Robots of the Future
Amazon launched a contest to build the robots for the warehouse of the future.
If you’re interested in robotics, this could be a nice opportunity to play with some really advanced platforms, or to build one.
We encourage participants to construct and bring their own systems to the contest. Contestants are not limited to using the hardware below. For those unable to do so we are trying to partner with popular robot companies to make their platforms available for use before and during the contest. Note that the default platform availability may be limited, and teams will need to coordinate with the robot providers early! Let us know what robots you’d like to see at the challenge!
