We just received this in our Submit channel:

We are a group of enthusiastic developers from Finland, consisting of  embedded electronics engineers, IT specialists and simply interested students.

Our idea is to make a low cost and open source smart-watches for those who are looking for technology or just a cool looking accessory on their wrist. As the market of smart-watches is growing every day, it is getting really hard to show you something special. But we will make a try.

So, we are introducing “BeGo”. That is how we called it after days of thinking.

The project looks still in early stage, but looks interesting even if a bit stripped down.

  1. Good project.
Open Source smartwatches are interesting projects.

The following project is very interesting:

    A smart watch using ODROID-W.
ODROID-W is a miniature computing module which is fully compatible with all software available for the Raspberry-Pi.
    The W stands for:
    – Wearable device development
    – Widely applicable Internet of Things (IoT) development
    – Workable DIY electronics prototyping
To demonstrate the wearable aspect, the ODROID-W project/webpage features information about a smartwatch project.

  2. johnBas5 Yeah this project on ODROID does seem interesting. But our idea is to make most out of cheap device. We try to combine maximum functionality, considering what people are using most and low cost prize. Thank you.
