One can say that we have plenty of Robot platforms in open source: indeed see our offers!
This one particularly looks like our Ardusumo.
But it’s always good to support these projects!
Apeiros is a user friendly, professionally designed open source mobile robot that can be used as a tool for teaching STEM.
Apeiros makes it easy for anyone to get involved with and become immersed in the world of robotics. Use Apeiros as a tool for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) + Art = STEAM.

Open Electronics, thank you for posting my Apeiros Robot! I can use all of the support and am sill hopeful that we will meet the $5k goal. I am in the process of deciding which licenses will be used to release Apeiros’ software and hardware. Once I make the decision, then I will post an update on my Kickstarter project.
I plan to release my Apeiros robot’s hardware as open source under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. All of the software that I develop for Apeiros will be released under General Public License (GPL) Version3. I believe that this release strategy will provide end-users with the freedom to modify and extend Apeiros in new and exciting ways while also being able to look under the hood and learn about the designs!
Is there any update on this? The STM platform seems to be missing out on being used in projects.
