Based on the PIC16F690 microcontroller, this driver board allows you to control, through a serial interface and a simple command set, the dual 7-segment LED display (7719-DOPPIODISPLAY). The board has a female DB9 connector for serial communication with PC or other devices, 10-pole male connector for connection with 7-segment display cards, 3-pin interface reserved for connection to an external sensor for automatic brightness control.
